Add 24 high-performance, Waves Signature mic preamps and 18 line outputs to your SoundGrid network with the Waves Audio Ionic 24, a digital Soundgrid stagebox housed in a rugged 3 RU rack-mountable chassis. With a secure etherCON port designed for simple hookup to an eMotion LV1 live mixer or any other SoundGrid-compatible hardware/software, the Ionic 24 integrates easily into your stage- or studio-based setup. Its redundant PSU external input enables the stagebox to continue working, even if power to primary power supply fails.
 
Ionic 24 provides 24 channels of mic/line input on XLR-1/4" combo connectors and 18 line-level outputs on XLR connectors. There is also an XLR AES3 input connector and two XLR AES3 output connectors, and two 1/4" headphone jacks. Most I/O connections are on the front panel. The stagebox features Waves Signature Preamps: fast response, maximum headroom, up to 60 dB of gain, 48V phantom power, and fully discrete analog circuits. A switchable HMX harmonic enhancer adds analog warmth and harmonics without compromising punch or clarity. Preamp impedance is selectable between 2 and 7 kilohms.
