Drawing from vintage console designs with the advantages of modern components, Thermionic Culture's Swift is a two channel EQ equally adept for tracking, mixing, or mastering. The whole circuit is inspired by 50s EMI designs, but TC has expanded the frequency response in the highs and lows, with an added Presence control for upper-mids. There's a mid-lift control inspired by Pultec designs, offering four frequencies and three Q settings.
Not stopping there, Thermionic has also added high pass filters, Mid Cut, and "Air" controls. While it does make use of tubes, these are purely for headroom purposes and delivering a characterful yet noise and distortion-free result. Named in part for how quickly you'll be dialing in great settings, the Swift from Thermionic Culture is an excellent way to step up your EQ game.
