The Avid Pro Tools | MTRX 8 Line Pristine AD Card is an expansion card for the Pro Tools | MTRX and MTRX II interfaces, providing eight channels of line-level analog input. The card uses high-quality DAD (Digital Audio Denmark) analog-to-digital converters, known for their transparent and detailed sound
Avid Pro Tools | MTRX 8 Line Pristine AD Card
8 channels of line-level analog inputs
- The card adds eight line-level analog inputs for connecting external preamps, keyboards, signal processors, mixing consoles, and other gear.
Pristine AD conversion
- The card features high-quality DAD converters, known for their transparent, clean, and highly detailed sound.
High resolution and sample rates
- The conversion supports up to 24-bit/384kHz PCM and includes DSD sample rates of 2.8224MHz and 5.6448MHz (64 and 128 fs).
D-Sub connector
- Inputs are connected via a 25-pin D-sub connector (Tascam standard pin configuration).
Extremely low noise
- The card's performance specs include very low THD+N (Total Harmonic Distortion + Noise) and crosstalk, helping to maintain signal integrity.
Modular expansion
- As an expansion card, it allows MTRX and MTRX II users to customize their interface. A single MTRX interface can be configured with up to 48 analog channels by installing multiple AD and/or DA cards
